Jeanne Markevich acts and models in Moscow. Kristina Ranneva photographs her in an apartment-like studio across three looks, and the space holds up its end of the shoot: white built-in bookshelves stacked with magazines, wood parquet, a Taschen Rousseau used as a prop.
Look one is the most theatrical of the three: a black military jacket with gold embroidery over a white bubble mini. Jeanne pulls at her hair against the shelves in one frame, then holds the Rousseau open in another with her head tilted up like she's caught mid-line. Look two goes soft as she wears a fluffy white sweater with feather trim, wide white pants, black mesh heels. She smiles in one and looks unimpressed in the next. Look three is the loosest with a red sweater worn over the shoulders with white trousers, sometimes adding a second sweater. In the last frame she's cross-legged on the floor, maintaining eye contact.
Three looks, shifting moods. The shoot moves like a table read.
