Giulia Bonatesta arrived from Milan and spent an afternoon with Charles Cave. One outfit, a blazer pulled on later, and whatever of London happened to be standing nearby: a wall here, a stairwell there. Cave doesn't seem to give too much consideration to location. He's interested in her face and her posture and the way she carries herself along the way.
The shoot is at its best when Giulia is unguarded. A laugh caught under the blazer held overhead and another against a blue wall with eyes closed. Those two frames break up an otherwise composed and serious shoot on both sides.
