Alex Pletnyova is signed to System Agency. Maria Neshcheret shot her in studio against a plain seamless backdrop with nothing else in frame. There are two looks. The first is white: a lace-trimmed bodysuit over sheer mesh, worn as a girdle skirt with the garter clips left hanging in the standing frames and as briefs in the seated ones, barefoot throughout. The second is black lace under high-waisted leather shorts, with leather driving gloves and patent heels capped in gold and silver. Part of the set is finished in black and white, a smaller part left in color.
Neshcheret builds most of the frames around Pletnyova's long torso and longer legs, shooting full-length and low so the legs run nearly the full height of the picture. Pletnyova has something to do with her arms in almost every frame, whether they're raised overhead, folded behind her head, crossed at her chest.
Across all twelve frames, she holds the same steady, unhurried expression through both looks. The styling does all the switching. It's what makes the white and the black read as one shoot rather than two.
